Tunnel Collaspe

My condolences to the family of the woman who was killed in this morning's tunnel collapse.

As a city, we are so damn lucky this wasn't a whole lot worse. Given all leaks in the system, the poor concrete, and the cost overruns, we really have no idea what the full magnitude of the situation is. Hopefully my earlier nervousness about construction and construction oversight in Massachusetts isn't being realized.

On a side note, does anyone else remember Zarilli and his Boston Bypass idea?
